Our full comprehensive Pilates certification program spans 600 hours and covers all studio apparatus, including the Reformer, Tower, Cadillac, Wunda Chair, High Chair, Arm Chair, and Ped-o-pull. What is the cost of the program?To register for the Full Comprehensive Certification Program we require a $2000 nonrefundable deposit. The Program is $6750 when paid in full, minus the deposit. We also offer a payment plan for 6 months after the deposit is made at $830/month. A card or bank account must be kept on file for the installment payments.

What if I cannot make it to a seminar/ practice date?If you miss any module dates, it is your responsibility to make up the missed time at your discretion. You are welcome to observe future modules at a later date for a fee of $100 per day. Additionally, recordings of every exercise are included in your program and are available online through the student website. Access them anytime using your login credentials and passcode.

When should I test out of the modules?Only test out when you are ready and feel confident you know the material. If you fail your 90-minute test, for each module, you will have to wait 4 weeks before taking it again, in which you will be charged a re-testing fee of $150. So please make sure you are ready to take your test before booking.

Are there any other costs?REQUIRED DURING THE PROGRAM: Testing out of each of the three modules is $175. Minimum of 15 group equipment classes and 15 mat classes. (At 10% off.) Minimum of 20 Private Pilates sessions. (At 10% off) You will have to purchase Pilates Teacher Liability Insurance once you have finished the program. (It is usually no more than $150/year.)

How many hours a week do I need to come to the studio?We suggest you come to the studio to work on your hours at least 12 hours a week. The program length is 12 to 18 months so coming 12 hours a week is encouraged. If you are having a bad week, maybe you won't even have time to come to the studio. But you can always come more or less if you have to. Try to stay as consistent as possible so you can finish the student program in a timely manner and start building your clientele.

Can I do this program after work or on the weekends?Yes, there will be time to come and do your required hours when you can fit them in. That is why this program is so great, because you will be able to make it around your schedule. If you still have a full time job but looking to add this in or change careers, this is so flexible!

Can I do any of this training from home?Yes. You will be allowed to do some hours at home. If it is an online class or with a teacher, it will need to be pre-approved by Sarah Martin.

Are there any pre-requisites?Minimum of 20 Privates or comparable experience with Sarah Martin or another approved certified teacher before the start date of the Program. 90 minute Pilates Wellness session with Sarah Martin . Includes 60-minute private lesson and 30-minute discussion on goals and commitment. ($175; deducted from the cost of tuition).

Structure of the Full Comprehensive Certification ProgramOur program is divided in two sections: the seminar and the Practice .The first section is the Seminar Series which is meticulously crafted and presented to immerse you in all aspects of Pilates. Over four weekends, delve into beginning, intermediate, and advanced-level movements for each apparatus. While demanding, these exercises leads to transformative results. The second phase in the Practice, is where you'll apply the knowledge gained from the seminars to participants. The 600-hour program is structured as follows: Hours: Observation: 200 hours of Privates and Group Classes Teaching: 250 hours of Privates, Shadowing a Certified Teacher, Group Classes Practice: 150 hours *All of the teaching and practice hours must be completed at Pilates Glow studio, supervised by a certified Pilates teacher. This includes all of the material that is provided for you, including the website. What if I want to learn the other Pilates Apparatus?After completing this certification you have the opportunity to continue with a secondary program designed to give you the knowledge to teach on the other pieces of equipment. The completion of this certification is required to move to the next program.

What can I do after receiving my certification?After completing the Reformer, Mat/Tower & Cadillac Certification you will be qualified to teach Pilates group classes anywhere you choose. The 300-hour certification covers beginner, intermediate, and advanced levels of classical Pilates. You can then opt to complete an additional 300 hours in Chairs & Barrels to become a fully certified Pilates instructor.
